Charakteristika der Stadt

Die Domstadt Regensburg ist mit ihren über 150.000 Einwohnern die viertgrößte Stadt in Bayern und größter Einzelhandelsstandort Ostbayerns. Eine geringe Arbeits-losenquote und ein hohes Kaufkraftniveau von 109 % wirken sich positiv auf den Einzelhandel aus. Dieser kann mit einem Gesamtumsatz von rund 1,5 Mrd. EUR und einem sehr hohen Zentralitätsindex (181,7) punkten. Hierzu trägt auch der Tourismus bei. Insbesondere die his-torische Altstadt zieht viele Besucher an. So befindet sich auch ein Großteil der in der Innenstadt ansässigen Retailer in Baudenkmälern. Characteristics of the city

With a population of more than 150,000, the cathedral city of Regensburg is the fourth largest city in Bavaria and largest retail trade location of Eastern Bavaria. A low unemployment rate and a high purchasing power of 109 % have a positive impact on the retail business. This can boast a total turnover of approx. 1.5 billion euros and a very high centrality index (181.7). Tourism plays a great role in these figures.
